Why the circus?

History and Culture

 

When talking about the circus, generally elicit different reactions and contradictory: it is difficult for a person of high culture admit to interest in this kind of show, which is often merged to forms of entertainment or leisure for children and more or less openly considered part of "culture minor."

On the other hand, is clearly impossible to find a person who has not seen a circus and is not able to describe it. Sign, this, that the circus is part of our culture in a way so profound that it would be absurd as well as unnecessary denial and unaware of its existence.

The cultural reality of the circus then revealed his extraordinary historical continuity and stability over the centuries, despite the changes and developments which has seen substantial especially in relation to the historical period and the cultural change. 

Common symbol of ethnic groups, the union between nations that earlier, the circus has as its first value is priceless to absorb different elements, and harmonize them into a supreme synthesis: the art that arises spontaneously from the power and strength of the body. As such, the Circus is immediately exaltation of nature and the creative force that has its most beautiful expression in humans. One can therefore say that, through contact with animals, under the starry sky tent that is the union of man and nature is celebrated in full. 

From the perspective of Nature, the circus that is a mirror and gives the viewer a celebration of important rediscovery of self, of his roots and emotions.
